Faustino V11 is made with great care and benefits from some ageing in both barrel and bottle. Established 1861, Faustino has a global reputation for quality. Its carefully tended vines & rigorous grape selection result in grapes of exceptional flavour & finesse. Its oak barrels, replaced regularly ensure each bottle is as good as the last. Located in the upper part of Rioja Alavesa, Faustino's 650 hectares enjoy the best climate, soil (chalky) and geography (400-600m) needed to produce the highest quality, best balanced wines of Rioja. Gentle ageing of 10 months in American oak and 6 months in bottle ensures the wine is balanced & elegant with a soft flavour.
