- Origin - Since the 1980?s Vidal-Fleury has been owned by the Guigal family. Their support has allowed the business to flourish and has enabled them to continue to produce classic wines, blending traditional techniques with modern equipment. Today, the head winemaker is Guy Sarton du Jonchay, whose experience tracks back through Bordeaux, Australia's Rosemount Estate and Cavas de Weinert of Argentina. Taste - Brilliant garnet in colour, with a classic Rh?ne nose of bramble fruits and heady spice. The medium-bodied palate has fresh and snappy red fruit surrounded by firm and persistent tannins.
